The work of St James’s, it costs us £5,000 per day to enable us to keep our doors open to all who need us.
A reimagined St James’s realised. A redesigned garden, courtyard and new building capacity—all fully accessible— will provide beautiful spaces for all as well as improving our environmental performance.

Enjoy a candlelit concert in the run-up to Christmas with a selection from Handel’s masterpiece, The Messiah.
St James’s aspires to be a place where all can belong, and where every person’s gifts and identities are welcome and celebrated. We are working to improve the experience at St James’s in the church building and the online community. We have step-free access from the courtyard to the church, and a toilet for disabled people. The courtyard and Redemption Roasters coffee shop are wheelchair accessible.
Featuring The Piccadilly Sinfonietta Susan Parkes (Soprano) and other operatic soloist to be announced.

Eco-contemplative services are held on the 4th Sunday of the month at 9.45am in the Southwood Garden in the southwest corner of the church site, and on Zoom.

A Deep Time Walk is a journey through 4.6 billion years of Earth history compressed into a 4.6km walk.
Morning Prayer is said in the side chapel Mon, Tues, Thur & Fri at 8.30am, lasting 30 minutes.

Formed in 2022 at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, the Sonas Quartet has quickly established itself as a dynamic and accomplished ensemble.
