The work of St James’s, it costs us £5,000 per day to enable us to keep our doors open to all who need us.
A reimagined St James’s realised. A redesigned garden, courtyard and new building capacity—all fully accessible— will provide beautiful spaces for all as well as improving our environmental performance.

Eco-contemplative services are held on the 4th Sunday of the month at 9.45am in the Southwood Garden in the southwest corner of the church site, and on Zoom.

We invite relatives and friends who have lost a loved one to attend and light a candle in their memory.
First Thursday each month, 7.30-8.30pm on Zoom
Deep Abiding Prayer is a healing prayer of the heart and of the Spirit. Its sources are in the Bible and in the Christian Contemplative tradition.

Sung by the Lay Singers and the Singing Scholars of St James’s this contemplative service will follow the order and use the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer of 1662.

Join this Advent celebration of communities and friendship with readings, familiar carols, candlelight, wine and mince pies, in partnership with Churches Together in Westminster.

Come and be part of this reflective service of music and readings for all who find this time of year difficult. An opportunity to come together and address the sadness, pain of loss and even anger that can be felt during the Christmas season.
Tuesday 16 December 2.30pm
Join young singers and instrumentalists for joyful carols. The Christmas story will be accompanied by classic favourites, featuring brass fanfares, drums and a choir.
