Pride of St James’s LGBTQ+ Group

Here at St James’s, we are clear that the Christian faith is founded on love, indiscriminate and eternal.

The relationship between organised religion and the expression of human sexuality is complex, and we recognise the courage that it takes sometimes for people who identify as LGBTQ+ to even get in touch with a church. Everyone is welcome to come along, whether or not they identify as LGBTQ+, and enjoy and reconnect.

Radical Welcome
Conversations in church – Sundays after the Eucharist on 18 June, 2 and 16 July 12.45-1.45pm
Conversation online – Tuesday 18 July 7.45-8.45pm on Zoom
Leading up to St James’s Day, there will be themed discussions for the whole congregation after the Sunday Eucharist and online on Tuesday 18 July. We will explore topics that will help us to reflect on belonging, equity, diversity and inclusion especially within St James’s. This work is a key part of our values and vision, and the more everyone participates, the more we’ll learn and connect with each other. If you join us on a Sunday please bring your lunch so we can eat together. Further information here or contact Ayla.
