A new programme bringing exciting live music to your Saturday afternoons. We’re building out from our classical roots to bring you jazz and other music genres that promise to be the sound of a good weekend.

We give a stage to emerging artists, young composers and underrepresented genres—shining a light on new voices and fresh sounds.

Expect everything from classical and jazz to experimental music, all performed live by some of the most talented up-and-coming musicians.

Relaxed Saturday Live 10.30am

Our Saturday Live programme has expanded to include Relaxed Saturday Live — a series of free concerts designed to make high-quality live music accessible for everyone. Featuring jazz, world music, and more, these family-friendly performances allow you to wander, sing along, or simply soak in the atmosphere. Musicians share stories about their music and instruments, creating a welcoming experience for both children and adults, whether you’re trying something new or introducing little ones to live music.

Formed at the Royal College of Music in September 2022, the Inverno Quartet brings together musicians from Lithuania, Slovenia, Argentina/Spain, and Italy.

Junior Department at the RAM

Junior Academy, a department of the Royal Academy of Music, is home to some of the most talented musicians in the country aged 11-18 each Saturday. Most of the students go on to study music at Conservatoire or University, and many are destined for a life in music.
