Waterstones: An Evening with Colin Morgan

Church Window Mask

Thursday 18 June 7pm

We’re delighted to welcome Colin Morgan for a dazzling event to celebrate his debut novel THE BALLAD OF RONAN MCCOY.

The Ballad Of Ronan McCoy is a touching and painful exploration of the journey of grief. It’s a story of friendship and growing up: Colin’s writing is powerful, heart-wrenching and beautiful. This is a tender coming-of-age literary fiction novel about friendship and first love for fans of Douglas Stuart, Michael Magee, David Nicholls and Andrew O’Hagan.

Colin Morgan grew up in Northern Ireland, a boy with an instinctive love for stories: hearing them, telling them, writing them, performing them. As an adult he counts himself very lucky that not much has changed, finding himself on stage, in front of a camera, before a microphone or with pen in hand, storytelling. The Ballad Of Ronan McCoy is his debut novel.

Please note: book and ticket option includes a pre-signed copy of The Ballad of Ronan McCoy (RRP £16.99) available for collection on the night.

Please note that this event will not include a live book signing.
