It costs £5,000 each day to keep the doors of St James’s open to all who already need us.
A reimagined St James’s realised. A redesigned garden, courtyard and new building capacity—all fully accessible— will provide beautiful spaces for all as well as improving our environmental performance.

Two pinnacles of the chamber repertoire in a single evening — Mozart’s luminous Quintet, composed at the height of his powers, and Brahms’s deeply autumnal reply: searching, tender, and profoundly beautiful. Founded in 1921 and honoured by the patronage of Her Majesty Queen Camilla, the London Chamber Orchestra has stood at the heart of British musical life for over a century.
