Rebekah Yinuo Tan was born in August 2006 in Shanghai. Inspired to become a concert pianist after hearing Chopin’s music in a live concert when she was 7, she started taking formal piano lessons half a year later with Zijie Wu.

Programme
AMAL – The Algerian Music Association of London will perform a selection of Algerian classical and folk music, including Algerian Arabo-Andalusi / Nouba repertoire and traditional songs, presented through choir, musicians and traditional percussion.
In Algeria, Nouba music is the classical musical tradition often referred to as Arabo-Andalusi music or Algerian classical music. The programme will celebrate this living heritage alongside popular and folk songs rooted in Algerian cultural memory and intergenerational transmission.
This concert is the closing night of DzFest 2026 and celebrates Algeria’s living musical heritage, cultural memory and collective voice.
