Music From Home celebrates London’s diversity and brings people together.
Organised by Hikayetna, Music From Home will feature live stage performances and music from members of London’s diverse community, including Suna Alan, Peyman Heydarian,, Saife Alnaffkh, Sulaiman Haqpana and Cenk Şanlıoğlu bringing music and stories from Kurdistan, Turkey Iran, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
The idea is to give five musicians from different backgrounds a platform to share their music and personal memories with the audience and engage with Londoners from all communities. The evening is to build a strong relationship within and across groups and encourage civilian engagement. We are intent on bringing out the colours in our community voice.
Thanks go to the Westminster Council, who funded this event for helping us to create a buzzing and multicultural event.
