St James’s is a place to explore, reflect, pray, and support all who are in need. We are a Church of England parish in the Anglican Communion.
We host a year-round creative programme encompassing music, visual art and spoken word.
We offer hospitality to people going through homelessness and speak out on issues of injustice, especially concerning refugees, asylum, racial justice, and LGBTQ+ issues.

It costs £5,000 each day to keep the doors of St James’s open to all who already need us.
A reimagined St James’s realised. A redesigned garden, courtyard and new building capacity—all fully accessible— will provide beautiful spaces for all as well as improving our environmental performance.

Artist Bio
Talia Lieberman is an emerging soprano based in Essex. She began her musical journey with the Southend Girls Choir and graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama in 2024 with First Class Honours. Since graduating, she has established herself as a professional singer, performing across London and beyond. Talia has taken part in a number of prestigious young artist programmes, including The Sixteen’s Genesis Sixteen, Oxford Bach Soloists, and Vox Next Gen. She is also an alumni music scholar of St James’s, Picadilly. Most recently, she has been performing in the immersive production In The Dark, appearing at venues throughout London, with upcoming performances across the UK. Alongside her performing career, Talia works in education and outreach for several leading music organisations, including The Gesualdo Six and London Youth Choir.
