It costs £5,000 each day to keep the doors of St James’s open to all who already need us.

The London Handel Festival’s Come and Sing! offers enthusiastic singers a rare opportunity to experience the exhilaration of performing Handel’s music with a live professional baroque orchestra.
Members of the London Handel Orchestra, along with its Principal Conductor, Richard Gowers, will guide singers through two of Handel’s most radiant choral works and choruses from works performed across the Festival. Our Come and Sing! days offer unique insights into performance style, vocal technique, and historical context.
This inspiring day of music-making will culminate in an early evening performance of the repertoire learned during the day.
