The work of St James’s, it costs us £5,000 per day to enable us to keep our doors open to all who need us.
A reimagined St James’s realised. A redesigned garden, courtyard and new building capacity—all fully accessible— will provide beautiful spaces for all as well as improving our environmental performance.

Venetia and Barbara’s Christmas cabaret promises an evening packed with Christmas jazz classics and skits that will leave you both uplifted and in stitches.
St James’s aspires to be a place where all can belong, and where every person’s gifts and identities are welcome and celebrated. We are working to improve the experience at St James’s in the church building and the online community. We have step-free access from the courtyard to the church, and a toilet for disabled people. The courtyard and Redemption Roasters coffee shop are wheelchair accessible. If you have special access requirements (e.g. wheelchair users) please contact concerts@sjp.org.uk
Following last year’s packed out debut of “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year” at the Toulouse Lautrec Jazz Club, Venetia and Barbara are bringing the Christmas cabaret to St James’s Church Piccadilly in aid of the ‘Christmas for All’ Campaign.
This pairing, with serious vocal skills, will bring you an evening full of skits, Christmas jazz classics, that will leave you uplifted and your sides hurting.
In classic cabaret style, you will be treated to an evening of your favourite Christmas songs backed by a fabulous jazz trio, as well as a few surprises along the way. This is a night you won’t want to miss out on for your Christmas diaries!

At Christmas time, we often use words like ‘home’ and ‘family’. Many will gather to celebrate and be together. But for many people today, such connection and security feels out of reach, and comfort feels far away.

Come and be part of this reflective service of music and readings for all who find this time of year difficult. An opportunity to come together and address the sadness, pain of loss and even anger that can be felt during the Christmas season.

Join young musicians from the Royal College of Music for joyful carols. The Christmas story will be accompanied by classic favourites, featuring brass fanfares, drums and a choir.

Everyone is welcome for our parish carol service with biblical readings, poetry and music from St James’s Lay Singers and Music Scholars.

Hear the Christmas story and sing carols, accompanied by the St James’s Music Scholars and trumpet fanfares. Families and children are especially welcome at this service.

Join this solemn and beautiful Christmas Eucharist, with carols by candlelight.
