We host a year-round creative programme encompassing music, visual art and spoken word.
We offer hospitality to people going through homelessness and speak out on issues of injustice, especially concerning refugees, asylum, racial justice, and LGBTQ+ issues.

It costs £5,000 each day to keep the doors of St James’s open to all who already need us.
A reimagined St James’s realised. A redesigned garden, courtyard and new building capacity—all fully accessible— will provide beautiful spaces for all as well as improving our environmental performance.

I think that St James’s is an extraordinary and wonderful church. I love its passion for social justice and inclusion in all its forms with a mission always grounded on being foremost a place of prayer and worship.
Originally from a legal background, I have spent most of my career working in newspaper and television companies.
I have rediscovered latent skills working as a cook in the heat and bustle of the kitchen preparing food for our guests at FEAST. It is great fun with phenomenal camaraderie among the team of volunteers.
