David values St James’s for its generous heart, good liturgy, and as a safe space for silence. He believes the world would be a better place if more people walked the labyrinth.
He was a foreign correspondent for most of his life, much of that time in South Asia and Afghanistan.
He is an author, historian and visiting Senior Fellow in the War Studies Dept at King’s College, London, and trustee of Peace Direct, which supports local peacebuilders worldwide – ‘stopping wars, one person at a time.’
He is an Associate at the Imperial War Museum.
David’s one intent is to uncover the secret to the perfect sourdough.
