The work of St James’s, it costs us £5,000 per day to enable us to keep our doors open to all who need us.
New walkways, a restored courtyard and re-landscaped gardens will provide fully accessible, beautiful spaces for everyone to enjoy as well as improving our environmental performance.

Enjoy an outstanding musical evening in the days before Christmas with a breathtaking programme including Vaughan-Williams’ masterpiece, The Lark Ascending, along with Chopin’s sublime Piano Concerto No.2. All in the stunning candlelit setting of St James Church Piccadilly and featuring the exceptional musicians of The Piccadilly Sinfonietta, this will be a pre-Christmas concert to remember. There are also plenty of bars and restaurants nearby to complete your night!

We are at 197 Piccadilly London W1J 9LL between Piccadilly and Jermyn Street, about 200 yards from Piccadilly Circus.
Access
St James’s aspires to be a place where all can belong, and where every person’s gifts and identities are welcome and celebrated. We are working to improve the experience at St James’s in the church building and the online community. We have step-free access from the courtyard to the church, and a toilet for disabled people. The courtyard and Redemption Roasters coffee shop are wheelchair accessible. If you have special access requirements (e.g. wheelchair users) please contact concerts@sjp.org.uk

About the pianist
Warren Mailley-Smith is a favourite with UK audiences, well-known for his incredible feat of learning to play all 3.5 million notes of Chopin’s piano music from memory and hailed by the critics as an “epic achievement” He is one of the busiest concert pianists of his generation, giving over 100 solo performances in the UK alone yearly. He has performed for the Royal Family over 30 occasions and his last CD was featured by Classic FM as CD of the Week.
