The Gibden Scholars Summer Music Festival is an international course where talented students from around the world travel to Wells to work together for a week and perform. We have a particular focus on concerto movements which the students can then perform with orchestra. As a part of the festival the students also take part in the Euroasia international Music Competition. The winners will be performing their concerto movement in the Grand Final Concert at St James’s.

Our team of amazing professors include Michael Bochmann, Peter Adams, Yulia Chaplina, Tom Martin, Eloise Riddell, Matthew Gibbon, Madoka Maxwell and Angus Gibbon. They will be leading the concert having worked wonders with the students all week.
