    This lunchtime recital presents a big range of music from baroque, through a Brazilian fusion with Bach, to some 20th century most beautiful works from American and Czech composers. This programme is full of satisfying harmonies, lyrical and nostalgic melodies, and lively music inspired by Eastern-European folk tunes, all in one concert.

    Hanna Woźniak – Flautist

    Hanna Woźniak is a flautist from Warsaw in Poland, currently based in London. This year she is finishing her Master’s Degree as the Worshipful Company of Needlemakers named scholar, on the Orchestral Artistry Course at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, studying with Philippa Davies, Gareth Davies, Christopher Green, and Ian Clarke. Hanna’s first steps in the professional world involve performing in the Queen Elizabeth’s Hall in Southbank, in the Barbican with Sir Simon Rattle, with the London Symphony Orchestra, with the Royal Ballet and Opera in Covent Garden, and with the Oxford Philharmonic.

    Hanna enjoys playing the alto flute and piccolo as well as the concert flute, and is a keen chamber musician performing in all sorts of ensembles – from a woodwind quintet to a jazz big band orchestra. During her studies at Guildhall, she got involved with the LSO Discovery department enjoying its outreach programme, especially the Next Generation and LSO Create projects. Hanna is a winner of the 2025 Guildhall Flute Prize sponsored by Just Flutes.
