The courtyard at St James’s is tucked between Jermyn Street and Piccadilly. It has 450 square meters of usable space (25m x 18m) with a maximum capacity of 400 people. (It sits adjacent to our Green Flag award-winning Southwood Garden, which has capacity for another 150 people.)
Our courtyard is well-known as a venue for a mouth-watering food market, outdoor music festivals, and cultural events of all kinds.
Access to the courtyard is through the main entrance gates from Piccadilly. There is a gently sloping disabled access ramp (see photo below). Unfortunately, there is currently no step free access to the Southwood Garden adjacent to the courtyard.
