    Programme

A special collaboration between two of London’s finest jazz musicians, Harry Christelis and Maria Chiara Argirò, who will explore original material that reflects their love of jazz improvisation, mixed with electronic, ambient, and folk music traditions.

Born and raised in London, guitarist and composer Harry Christelis has become an established name on the UK improvised music scene. He is recognised as a musician with a unique and impressionistic sound, keenly focused on spacial and atmospheric exploration in his music. His own albums to date have been met with widespread critical acclaim internationally.

Pianist and composer Maria Chiara Argirò has been a central figure in the UK jazz, classical and electronic worlds since she moved to London from Rome over a decade ago. A skilled pianist since childhood, she’s collaborated with everyone from These New Puritans to Jono McCleery, alongside many critically acclaimed releases under her own name. Her own music is described as stunning electronic jazz-fusion.
