    Artist Bio

    Hailing from Edinburgh, Clara studied at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama where, upon graduating with a First Class, Clara was awarded a Concert Recital Diploma and the prestigious Sheriff’s Prize.

    As a multi-instrumentalist, Clara enjoys a freelance career across styles and genres from early music to contemporary, she has performed in a variety of settings including at the London Jazz Festival, the Roskilde Festival, with Yazz Ahmed at WOMAD and the Blackdowns Early music festival.

    She was delighted to tour France last Autumn with Theatre du Heron’s Alice in Wonderland. Following her return to London at the start of the year, Clara held the harp/cornet/piccolo trumpet chair in Stiletto, Charing Cross Theatre.

    Most recently Clara has been playing on Shakespeare’s Globe’s production of the Merry Wives of Windsor.
