Directed by Dr Brittan Braddock, The Mercer University Wind Ensemble is the premier wind band of the Townsend School of Music at Mercer University.

The ensemble meets throughout the year and is comprised of the school’s top undergraduate and graduate performers. The Wind Ensemble is dedicated to performing advanced wind band literature and regularly participates in commissioning new works. Braddock is assistant professor of music, director of bands, and coordinator of music education at Mercer University.

The award-winning London Youth Concert Band enjoys an enviable reputation as one of London’s leading youth wind bands. They perform exciting and challenging music from a wide ranging repertoire, including original and contemporary works for wind orchestra, plus music from the stage and screen, jazz, pop and classical. Only formed in 2022 the LYCB very recently appeared at the NCBF National Finals in Manchester; one of only ten youth wind bands across the UK to have made it to the finals.
