St James’s is a place to explore, reflect, pray, and support all who are in need. We are a Church of England parish in the Anglican Communion.
We host a year-round creative programme encompassing music, visual art and spoken word.
We offer hospitality to people going through homelessness and speak out on issues of injustice, especially concerning refugees, asylum, racial justice, and LGBTQ+ issues.

The work of St James’s, it costs us £5,000 per day to enable us to keep our doors open to all who need us.
A reimagined St James’s realised. A redesigned garden, courtyard and new building capacity—all fully accessible— will provide beautiful spaces for all as well as improving our environmental performance.

These concerts are designed to be even more accessible to all. Don’t worry if your kids are prone to sing along and no need to think you need to sit bolt upright throughout when trying out this new live music experience — you’re free to wander in and out as the mood takes you.

When Trudy’s children were young, she created the charming album called Jazz for Juniors. The album is an engaging compilation of 18 lively, jazz-style tracks designed especially for young listeners and their families to enjoy together. Blending playful sing-along opportunities with educational flair, the record invites children to explore the rhythms and joys of jazz in a fun, interactive way.
