    Artist Bios

    Naomi Kilby trained at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, and Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. Opera credits include regular chorus for Opera Holland Park since 2009, including the role of First Bridesmaid Le Nozze Di Figaro (2021). Naomi has also performed with the National Gilbert & Sullivan Opera Company, Ad Parnassum and Armonico Consort. In 2012, Naomi formed Opera Alegría, acting as Co-Producer and singer. Highlights include Countess Adele Count Ory, Pamina The Magic Flute, and Aurore The Portrait of Manon. In 2024, Opera Alegría presented Barber’s 10 minutes chamber opera A Hand of Bridge on site to audiences at Opera Holland Park. A keen recitalist, Naomi has performed all over the UK and Europe, and works regularly both with the charity Lost Chord, and with Opera Holland Park’s Inspire programme.

    Daniel Lee Chappell is a pianist and composer from Manchester. He has performed across the UK and Europe, including appearances at Wigmore Hall, Kings Place, St Petersburg Philharmonia, 3 Choirs Festival, Dramatic Voices Berlin, and Lanzarote Opera Festival. He has performed with Opera Holland Park, Melos Sinfonia, Asyla Ensemble, Helios Collective, and London Sinfonietta Academy. Since 2022 he has been composer in residence with the Kettner Society, and his original works have been featured by Montpellier National Opera, Peter Eotvos Foundation, Budapest Music Centre, Institut Abeceda, and Tete-a-Tete Festival.
