Once again we’ll be rocking St James’s gorgeous courtyard with our own gospel take on the Nine Lessons And Carols, a selection of seasonal texts and sizzling gospel arrangements of carols.

Alys (she/her) is from South Wales and graduated from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in 2018 and has been freelancing across London and the UK since then.
Relaxed Saturday Live
These concerts are designed to be even more accessible to all. Don’t worry if your kids are prone to sing along and no need to think you need to sit bolt upright throughout when trying out this new live music experience — you’re free to wander in and out as the mood takes you.

Alys has performed regularly with orchestras such as Scottish Opera, Welsh National Opera, Opera North, the British Sinfonietta, among others. Equally at home in chamber music, Alys has undertaken tours and workshops with the Berkeley Ensemble, Opera Holloway, Guildford Opera and Cor8 Horns.

Artist Bio
Alys most regularly works in musical theatre. She can be heard on the album ‘Lucie Jones: Live at the Adelphi’ and has performed with Audra McDonald in her sell out London Palladium concert in 2022. She has performed in many concerts in the West End, including ‘Chess in Concert’ and ‘Evita’ (Drury Lane, LMTO), ‘The Secret Garden’, ‘Dr Zhivago’ and ‘Camelot’ (London Palladium, Lambert Jackson Productions), Carousel (Royal Festival Hall). Alys is a regular deputy for shows in the West End and regionally, as well as having been the chair holder for Thursford Christmas Spectacular, A Christmas Carol (Dominion), and Carousel (Kilworth House). She has most recently been a chair holder on the UK and Ireland Tour of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, where she was also cover musical director as well as the Les Miserables Arena Spectacular World Tour. Alys is also very passionate about music education and in 2022, graduated from University College London with Distinction in her MA Music Education and works regularly with nursery and SEND children across London.
