The work of St James’s, it costs us £5,000 per day to enable us to keep our doors open to all who need us.
A reimagined St James’s realised. A redesigned garden, courtyard and new building capacity—all fully accessible— will provide beautiful spaces for all as well as improving our environmental performance.

We invite everyone to join us in celebrating the strength, resilience and success of every member in our International Community. In the tradition of a potluck, we warmly invite you to contribute any foods that can be shared by all.
We will be joined by Rainbows Across Borders, a voluntary self-help group for LGBTQ+ asylum seekers who are fleeing harm and persecution. Their choir has been active for many years and since 2020 has partnered with award-winning music charity Music Action International. They have performed at London Pride events and perform regularly at Croydon Unitarian Church, which provides support to the group. Expect lots of uplifting, toe-tapping tunes, sung in different languages!
