    Artist bio

    London-based pianist Lin Xu-Zhang is in demand as a soloist and collaborative artist. Known for his fiery technical prowess and lyrical finesse throughout his extensive repertory, his recent engagements have included involvement in György Kurtág’s complete Játékok at the Royal Academy of Music’s Summer Piano Festival in London as well as appearances at City Recital Hall, the Australian Institute of Music and Mosman Art Gallery. A scholarship recipient at the Royal Academy of Music, Lin is currently a final-year undergraduate student with Joanna MacGregor CBE, with additional tutelage from Christopher Elton and Steven Osborne OBE. He is the winner of the Academy’s Mozart Piano Concerto prize as well as the 2023 International Schubert Competition and the 2023 Young Musician Beethoven Competition, and has previously studied with Clemens Leske Jr. and Lina Petkova.
