Celebrate the festive season in style with a magical evening of Chopin’s most exquisite piano works, performed by the acclaimed pianist Christina Lawrie, in the enchanting, candlelit setting of St James’s Church, Piccadilly.
This special Christmas concert offers the perfect escape from the winter rush—an immersive musical experience filled with poetic beauty, virtuosity, and emotional depth. From the haunting serenity of the Nocturnes, to the dazzling energy of the Scherzos, Waltzes, and Etudes, this beautifully curated programme is a tribute to Chopin’s enduring genius.
To begin your evening in festive fashion, a complimentary champagne reception will be served from 5:40pm, ahead of the 6:00pm performance. With an array of restaurants and bars nearby, it’s the ideal way to start your Christmas weekend in the heart of London.

Hailed as a “rising star” by International Piano magazine, Christina Lawrie has earned acclaim for her expressive depth and refined technique. She has appeared live on BBC Radio 3 and Radio Scotland, performed the Grieg Piano Concerto with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, and given recitals at leading venues including Wigmore Hall, the Southbank Centre, and Cheltenham Music Festival. Her acclaimed solo recordings feature works by Brahms, Rachmaninov, and Carl Vine, and her performances have taken her across the British Isles—from the Orkney Islands to the Channel Islands.
