Carols for All — The Shepherds

Church Window Mask

Saturday 20 December 12.30pm

Come and follow the shepherds to Bethlehem with John Rutter’s lively Shepherd’s Pipe Carol and Harrison Knights’ evocative arrangement of How Far Is It To Bethlehem?

  • St James’s aspires to be a place where all can belong, and where every person’s gifts and identities are welcome and celebrated. We are working to improve the experience at St James’s in the church building and the online community. We have step-free access from the courtyard to the church, and a toilet for disabled people. The courtyard and Redemption Roasters coffee shop are wheelchair accessible.

  • Expect a warm welcome, festive favourites, thoughtful reflections and plenty of opportunities to sing along, from much-loved traditional carols to our ever-popular Christmas Megamix featuring hits like All I Want forChristmas and Fairytale of New York. With the glorious voices of our Music Scholars and the brilliance of our brass players, these concerts promise fun, festivity, and Christmas cheer for all ages.

Let’s make Christmas Special for All

At Christmas time, we often use words like ‘home’ and ‘family’. Many will gather to celebrate and be together. But for many people today, such connection and security feels out of reach, and comfort feels far away.

Please support the work of St James’s, and help us help others who won’t expect to experience love and joy in this festive season. Your donation, whatever you can afford, will help to bring hope into the lives of others this Christmas.
