  • Other information

St James’s always follows the government’s current guidance on Covid protocols. All visitors should wear face coverings when inside the church, and use the hand sanitizer available.

  • Following on from our popular Queer Theology panel discussion last year, and as part of St James’s response to the Church of England’s consultation on human sexuality Living in Love & Faith, we’re delighted to welcome 5 panellists to explore topics of trans and non-binary gender identity as people of faith.

    Our panellists are:
Alex Clare-Young, Minister of the United Reformed Church
Chrissie Chevasutt, Author, Advocate, & Facilitator of Transgender Church
Harrison Knights, Artistic Director & Creative
    Jules Cunningham, Artist
Nicolete Burbach, Social Justice Lead at London Jesuit Centre

Chaired by Venetia Iga of our Living in Love & Faith Planning Group

    Doors open at 6.30pm

This in-person event will be recorded (not live-streamed), with a video available on our YouTube channel in due course.

The event is free and we encourage you to book below. Currently we have a capacity of at least 100 visitors (offering a mixture of social-distanced and non social-distanced seating) but we may need to reduce our seating capacity if Covid restrictions are increased.

    Queer Theology Panel Discussion

In 2021, St James’s hosted an ecumenical panel discussion on the topic of Queer Theology, which you can watch on YouTube here.
