Birsen Ulucan (piano) Franz Liszt’s piano transcription of Beethoven’s Symphony No 3 “Eroica” is both technically and musically very demanding for the performer. This will be a rare opportunity to hear this great piece performed for piano solo.
This is a free concert with a retiring collection
The Turkish pianist Birsen Ulucan was born in Bulgaria in a family of doctors, who believed that Art is the most refined form of human expression.
Apart from her solo appearances, she is regularly performing with her violinist siblings Ayşen Ulucan and Özcan Ulucan and sharing the stage with artists such as Maxim Vengerov, Marta Gulyas, Fernando Peres and Laszlo Fenyo.
The artist has four recordings with Lila Music Label (İstanbul) and two other with Çağsav Music (Ankara).
İn February 2023 she was invited to give a piano masterclass at Eton College, London.
