St James’s is a place to explore, reflect, pray, and support all who are in need. We are a Church of England parish in the Anglican Communion. This is a place for everyone who’s wondering about life’s big questions and striving for a better world.
We host a year-round cultural programme encompassing music, visual art and spoken word, drawing on St James’s rich cultural history including artists, writers and musicians Mary Beale, Mary Delany, William Blake, Ottobah Cugoano and Leopold Stokowski.
We try to put our faith into action by educating ourselves and speaking out on issues of injustice, especially concerning refugees, asylum, earth and racial justice, and LGBTQ+ issues.

Wardrobe is our clothing service for people going through homelessness or living on low incomes.
Wardrobe is our clothing service providing clean clothes, toiletries, sleeping bags and other important supplies.
Currently, we are reorganising our basement storage rooms to create the necessary space.
In the meantime, we welcome donations of clean & good quality clothing, warm fleeces, waterproofs and especially of men’s shoes, boots and trainers in sizes 8-12.
Wardrobe is organised by Robin our Food Hospitality Coordinator.
The ‘International Group’ of refugees and asylum-seekers – offers support, solidarity and community and is at the heart of our work and ethos.

A free drop-in counselling service in the St James’s courtyard
Monday & Tuesday 10am – 7pm
Wednesday to Sunday 10am – 5pm (Saturday closes at 4pm)
We are a member of West London Citizens. Together we develop local leaders, strengthen local organisations and create change.
Every Sunday morning we serve a hot take-away breakfast to people going through homelessness or living on low incomes.
