Edward (Ted) Smyth

Edward (Ted) Smyth is the Head of Philanthropy at St James’s, working as part of the Development team. He leads on both St James’s Trust and Foundation Fundraising and the Individual Giving function; and is always delighted to hear from anyone considering giving to St James’s.

Prior to coming to St James’s Ted worked for four years in Business Development for the Forward Trust, an organisation delivering drug and alcohol services in prisons and the community. He is a Trustee of Sing Inside, a Patron of Prisoners’ Penfriends, and in his spare time runs a small choir singing occasional services in cathedrals around the UK.
