We’d like to give a huge thank you to all our wonderful volunteers over Advent & Christmas
It’s no secret that Christmas, alongside Easter, is one of the highest attended days of the church calendar. During Advent and Christmas, our faithful volunteers make a huge difference to our capacity to offer a warm welcome to all our visitors. From the late nights helping with midnight mass to the early morning start serving Boxing Day breakfast to our guests going through homelessness, we simply couldn’t do it without them – especially during such challenging and unpredictable times.
So we’d like to say a big thank you to our wardens, our welcomers, our altar servers, our lay singers and music scholars, our director of music and our organist, our Sunday Breakfast and FEAST volunteers, and everyone else who helped us provide Christmas Day lunch and Boxing Day breakfast to people going through homelessness – with special thanks to the volunteers from the Westminster Day Centre and Westminster Synagogue who came to help us.
We have volunteering opportunities throughout the year and would love for more people to get involved. Please have a look at our Volunteering page to find out more.
