HOLDING ON TO THE SILENCE
As part of our Holding on to the Silence daily office, we meet on the first Sunday of the month at 1.05pm for a time of shared silence and the opportunity to share thoughts and reflections on our life together. Copies of the Daily Office and the accompanying Collects and Readings are available on the table in the prayer corner and on our website.
The Traidcraft is open after the service on the second and fourth Sunday of the month offering a host of Fairtrade goodies including some top quality Zaytoun food products from Palestine. Rescue hen organic eggs are also offered for sale on Traidcraft Sundays.
1.15pm on the second Sunday of the month. The Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Queer+ Group meets for a shared lunch and discussion in the meeting room. All welcome.
ANIMAL WELFARE GROUP
12.45pm on the third Sunday of the month, alternating between the meeting room and gatherings off site each month. We meet to explore what we can and should do, both as individual Christians and as part of the church.
The monthly 'Danced Liturgy' at St James's Piccadilly takes place on the third Sunday of the month, 1.30pm-3.00pm. Starting and finishing with prayers, the sessions are mostly circle dance, a mixture of dances to music from various countries and dances to worship songs or other music. People come on a drop-in basis, any one session is tailored to the abilities and experience of the participants.
THE TAIZÉ SPIRIT
Prayer in the Taizé Tradition (part of our Sunday Spirit series). Third Sunday of the month at 6.00pm.
9.45am-10.15am on the fourth Sunday of the month, ecocontemplative liturgy in the church garden, followed by refreshments.
