The Lay Singers rehearse every Sunday at 10.00am.
HOLDING ON TO THE SILENCE As part of our Holding on to the Silence daily office, we meet on the first Sunday of the month at 1.00pm for a time of silence and the opportunity to share thoughts and reflections on our life together. Copies of the Daily Office and the accompanying Collects and Readings are available on the table in the North Aisle and via our website, here
TRAIDCRAFT STALL The Traidcraft stall is set up in the North Aisle on the second and fourth Sunday of the month. Please do support it! Stock includes Fairtrade groceries, greetings cards and household items. Every purchase helps people in poor countries to develop their skills and to trade their way out of poverty. More here
CHILDREN We always welcome parents/carers and children here, particularly on the second Sunday of the month when there is a special activity for children during the 11.00am service. More here
LESBIAN, GAY, BISEXUAL, & TRANS GROUP (LGBT+)
1.00pm Meeting Room, second Sunday of the month. This St James's group meets for a shared lunch and discussion. All welcome, whoever you are and however you identify yourself.
DANCED LITURGY The monthly 'Danced Liturgy' at St James's Piccadilly takes place on the 3rd Sunday of the month, 1.30 - 3 p.m. Starting and finishing with read prayers, the sessions are mostly circle dance, a mixture of dances to music from various countries and dances to worship songs or other music. The dancing usually take place in the church itself. People come on a drop-in basis. So any one session is tailored to the abilities and experience of attendees 'on the fly'. The sessions aim to be fun as well as prayerful.
VAGABONDS Meet after the 11.00am Eucharist in a local pub on the third Sunday of the month for fellowship and discussion. More here
