Each year, at the APCM, we appoint new PCC members to any vacancies that arise. This year, there will be five vacancies, in addition to which we shall be electing four representatives to the Deanery Synod, who will also be members of the PCC. If you’re unable to attend the APCM and would like to designate a proxy to vote on your behalf, please contact Graham Cooper, PCC Secretary.
Membership of the PCC provides individuals with an opportunity to help guide the work of St James's, and Deanery Synod representatives also play an important role in representing the views of St James's in the wider church. As we develop our new Strategic Plan and plans for the site renovation, this is a particularly exciting time to get involved.
More information and nomination forms are available on the table in the prayer corner, from the Churchwardens (who are very happy to discuss these opportunities further), or by email from Graham Cooper, the PCC Secretary: pcc@sjp.org.uk
Completed nominations, accompanied by a short personal statement, should be submitted to the PCC
Secretary by Sunday 5 April.
