Full time – £32,000 pa
The Events Manager role’s main purpose is to create and manage fund-raising events as part of the strategy to raise £20m for The Wren Project. The successful applicant will need to have experience of working with a successful fundraising team; demonstratable experience of managing both small and large scale projects and a proven track record of event management including budget management.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing; able to represent St James’s Church within and outside the wider church and have a strong ability to work as part of a team and in sympathy with the church’s aims and ethos.
24 months employment contract
7.5% pension contribution by St James’s with .5 contribution by the employee; 25 days annual leave plus public holidays
