Join the Walking Boots on Saturday 2 September for a 9½ mile walk in Essex. Starting at Cressing Station we walk to the village of White Notley for a pub lunch at the Cross Keys. We then visit Cressing Temple, a 12th century estate which includes a Tudor walled garden, 18th century barn, stables, a granary, lots of farming implements – and a tea room! The walk ends back at Cressing Station. Meet at concourse information booth at Liverpool Street Station at 9.30am having bought a return ticket to Cressing. We will leave on the 9.48am train to Braintree. Please confirm (walk and pub lunch) with Cornell Jackson by Saturday 26 August.
